What you sow,
You shall reap,
They said.
I worked hard,
Day and night,
All rolled into one.
I harvested the fruits,
Mellow and juicy,
A luscious aroma,
It spread in my life.
But,
I lost my way,
Deceived in the maze,
The bare stalks laughed at me,
Swaying merrily,
Spread in the vast expanse.
But,
I dug hard,
Carving my own path,
Undaunted,
I climbed new hills,
Ticking the stony milestones,
That stood tall and proud,
Telling me that you sow,
What you reap.
