As it soared high

A soul soared high,
Bonds broken,
An Ariel free,
It waltzed to the notes,
Its own.
And denizens below,
It watched them,
Faces seen,
Aeons ago,
Now saying kind words,
No longer in a surly tone.
Maybe!
They were glad to see it go.
Goodies passed,
Tables laid in bountiful,
Dainty linen,
Shining cutlery on pottery blue,
As pristine sheets,
Starched white,
Spread galore.
Orchids white,
Embellished Aura!
And they forgot!
It abhorred orchids so more.
It laughed aloud,
So what?
They forgot it,
They forgot what it had loved,
And they chose to forget,
When It was amidst.
Singing paens,
Words hollow,
Tears glassy,
And shallow.
An elegy,
They wrote,
A fallacy.
It smiled,
Freed from the life’s charade,
Seeing life,
Afar,
It sees truth.
It flew high,
It smiled now.
