If tomorrow Comes Posted on March 31, 2019 by indishe If tomorrow comes, It will be, A harbinger of things new, Ushering in an ardent hope, Unearthing a cache of hidden dreams. If tomorrow comes, It will write new stories, Etching the leaves of time, Erasing the tales of yore, That mean no more. If tomorrow comes, It will heal old wounds, Festering animosity, Now soothed, An ecstatic canopy on a life of bliss! If tomorrow comes, I shall traverse on paths untread, Fears alloyed with fiery bloom, Enigmatic twists, Evasive turns, I lose myself in the maze. But I soldier on, For if tomorrow comes, It will be a new day, As vistas unroll, And panoramas sweeped, And my Morrow, It will be the master of my Today!
