It seems only yesterday that 2022 began. And now we are at the last quarter of the year. Days have just roller-coastered by. Life seems to be in a state of suspended animation just swinging by rhythmically in cyclical fashion.
The fall colors are blazing bright and we all look forward to fresh beginnings each year, evaluating on what we did and contemplating on what we should have done.

Wisps of Life(an etheree)

wisps
of time
now mellowed
glazed verdant lush
washed in dewy drops
fall free from life's ringed birch
crimson ambered and russet
absorbing all hues that life gave
only to wither in sodden earth
to sprout anew variegated shades
