A Rivulet

The rivulets of joy flowed down,
Meandering down the stony bed.
Striking the rough cobbles,
The bubbling brooks danced all the more,
As they created a symphony that resonated around.
The rivulets of joy deluged the barren being,
Infusing a life new,
Nothing seem to dam the tide,
It was a surge of ecstasy,
It was a surf of calm.
As the rivulets rippled along,
They told me to move on.
I may sink or keep afloat,
But someday,

I am sure to reach the shore.
