An ode to a Veiled beauty

Her beauty acclaimed far and wide,
And she was too erudite,
A halo so luminous around her,
It made her dazzle in dark night,
Showering cool beams on the wretched souls,
Yet still they maligned her,
Clouds shadowed her tainted beauty
So near, yet so far,
A beauty shrouded in
a veiled silence.
