The golden shaft,
Mesmerised the blue expanse,
Teased the grey waters with myriad hues,
Luminescent, the seas lit up.
As it converged,it radiated sheen,
The sheen that showed the way,
The way to heaven,
Heaven where the darkness was dispelled.
The infinite palette dashed with fiery orange,
Seemed to take solace in the the placid blue,
Blue dulled the by dark.
The myriad colors,
Dotting the diaspora,
Against the dark silhouette of silent boats,
Birds darting around,
Basking in fading embers.
The colours of life,
Trigger a tale of memories untold,
Reminding you,
That dark shroud will be there,
But the sun will still shine.
