Ronovan Writes Décima Poetry Challenge Prompt No. 8 (FIRE). This week, it’s the A rhyme spot.

A volley of a heated fire,
And spouts of steaming vitriol,
On all things very trivial,
Incited by a raging ire,
So Hurting all in its crossfire.
Loud Anger is worn with much pride,
Compassion inside all has died,
An inflated ego utmost,
It can never take a riposte,
Only it loves to chide and snide.

I have linked the thought behind this Decima with the haiku posted @ https://indishe.wordpress.com/2020/06/04/ronovan-writes-weekly-haiku-poetry-prompt-challenge-308-angerlogic/

  1. 🙂 You used more than one of my words this week. I used it to describe Trump as a pig. 🙂 And those first two lines could be either police or Trump. But it could also be about other things situation. Not that I’m saying your poem is about America.
