Chimera of life,
It draws a circle,
It begins where it ends,
And after traversing myriad paths,
You realize too late,
That you are where you began.
Angles that falsely subtend,
It was all a facade.
For nothing changed,
You thought that you had moved on,
Moving onto new horizons,
Inching towards a life.
It was a fallacy that grew aloud,
It laughed in your face,
At your naivete so found.
But the destined stop never came,
Lost and shrouded in aeons of time,
As you still stand where you began.
