Lockdown Day 5

Day 5.

It’s another day today.

It seems like one day is rolled into another. A routine has been set and the work goes on.

As I sit down to think and contemplate,I wonder where it will end. People are saying a surge is inevitable. It is like we are waiting for the apocalypse to happen and swallow us in. I happen to go down to the pharmacy and was saddened to see the bustling streets eerily quiet.

It looked like a ghost town in the middle of the bright day. And 5 days ago ,you could not find a place to walk here.

I have started some reading

and came upon a copy of Bhagwad Gita which I had been planning to read.

I found these lines quite motivating and would love to share it with you all.
Look to this day,
For it is life,
The very life of life.
In its brief course lie all the truths
And realities of your existence;
The bliss of growth
The glory of action, and
The splendor of beauty;
For yesterday is but a dream
And tomorrow is only a vision,
But today well lived makes
Every yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day.
Such is the salvation of the dawn
