Smouldering Sands Posted on April 5, 2019 by indishe Smouldering sands, Scorching souls, Scalding hearts, Searing pain. Walking on those dreary paths, Seared with its fiery heat, You learnt, Learnt to forbear. Come what may, You trudge along. The fiery heat, It embalms you, Infusing in you a radiant strength, You jest with fiery wrath, Mocking at its incessant downpour. The angry droplets merely washing your soul, They try to diffuse into the deep recesses, Now deeply fortified. And you stand tall, Braving the hurricane, Fighting the tempest, Blowing free in the wild gusts, For the roots are deep, And you are strong.
