Just You

It’s your day,

The chimes strike the notes you wish,

Each moment your own,

And yourself.

All this while,

You have been trudging by,

Doing what been told.

A cataclysm,

One morning,

And you woke up from that reverie.

You shook up the cobwebs,

Opened the mind’s windows,

As sunny warmth fragrant,

And vernal gush,

It thawed the stony heart,

As it set free the cloistered emoticons.

And you walk with a spring in your step,

Safely coccooned in your space,

Floating free in the chiasm,

For now what matters to you,

Is just you!
