A very Happy Raksha Bandhan to all the brothers and sisters

A thread of love,

To articulate what never was said,

It ties to untie the loose ends.

It holds us together,

Even we are apart,

We hold hands,

As we walk on different paths.

Life may take us to to distant lands,

But it harks us back to where we belong.

It tells me I am not alone,

For someone there is there for me of yore.

I smile and I laugh,

As I send you the silvery thread of love.
